3000A Heavy Duty 6 Metre Jump Leads with Carry Case

Heavy-duty booster cables designed for emergency starting of vehicles with a discharged battery. The extra-long 6 metre cable length provides greater flexibility when positioning the donor and stalled vehicles.

Suitable for cars, vans and light commercial vehicles with petrol or diesel engines up to 3.0 litres, subject to the vehicle manufacturer's starting requirements.

How to Connect

1. Switch off both vehicles and all electrical equipment.
2. Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the discharged battery.
3. Connect the other red clamp to the positive terminal of the assisting battery.
4. Connect the black negative (-) clamp to the negative terminal of the assisting battery.
5. Connect the remaining black clamp to a suitable unpainted metal earth point on the stalled vehicle, away from the battery and fuel system.
6. Start the assisting vehicle, then attempt to start the vehicle with the discharged battery.
7. Once started, remove the cables carefully in the reverse order.

Important Safety Information

Check that both vehicles use compatible electrical systems before connecting the leads.

Do not allow the positive and negative clamps to touch each other while connected to a battery.

Do not use damaged cables, exposed wiring or damaged clamps.
